baby it is cold outside

Had to quickly share so I won't forget that tonight for the very first time we needed to put snowboots on both of our kids. Caleb, who as an infant would never wear hats of any kind, now loves them and wants to keep them on at ALL times. He loves to say HAT! HAT! to anyone who is wearing one. He can now say boots and loves the little black snowboots that found a home on him tonight and now he won't take them off his feet!(thanks to Tanner we have several footwear choices everyday) He may be wearing his hat and boots to bed tonight!! He is currently sitting in the living room watching a short Christmas movie wearing his snowboots and striped stocking cap. Tis the season for snowy coldness and boots, hats and mittens! Hope you are staying warm....

Happy Birthday to You!

This little boy has changed our lives in so many wonderful ways. I cannot believe that this Friday, the 12th of September we will be celebrating 2 years of wonderful memories, growth, changes, and blessings since Caleb Jack became a part of our family.

Caleb Jack at 2:
Happy! Happy! Happy!
Playful
a true busy little boy-curious and never stops moving, exploring, and learning.
Talks constantly with the cutest facial expressions
you can understand lots of words-the ones he can say are very clear
First word was MOM and his favorite word is still MOM-not mommy or mamma, just MOM
very interested in trains right now
loves to play with balls or any sports equipment
runs fast and has great balance and mobility-climbs very well:(
sleeps for 3 hours every afternoon and 11 or 12 hours at night
loves books and puzzles and blocks
very social, not cautious or shy in any way
LOVES his big sister Halle and plays with her every chance he gets
gets very excited when any food is put on the table-favorites are rice, meat of any kind, spaghetti, mashed potatoes, soup of any kind, tuna, chips, bananas, cancakes(pancakes) bacon.....you get the point-this boy eats everything!
He is into push toys-lawn mowers, doll strollers, shopping carts
plays very physically-headfirst down the slide, pile on game with lots of giggling and piling on top of eachother...
an intense little character
loves music, dancing, instruments and praising the Lord
a bundle of smiles and fun

We love you so much and wish you the happiest of birthdays! You are a blessing to us today and everyday!
